Timbers Resorts is pleased to announce that it has been assigned as asset manager by Ferruco Vail Ventures, a family owned investment group out of Mexico City, and will operate and manage The Sebastian, formerly the Vail Plaza Hotel & Club, in Vail, Colo.

As Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center approaches its fifth anniversary, the 1100 room property garners three prestigious travel industry awards:  AAA Four Diamond Award, Orbitz “Best of Stay” and Expedia’s Insiders’ Select 2010.

AAA has granted Hyatt Regency Denver the Four-Diamond rating for excellence.  This rating’s fundamental hallmarks, according to AAA, include “an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”  Hyatt Regency Denver joins the ranks of an elite group of Colorado hotels to achieve the AAA Four Diamond status and has done so every year since its opening in 2005. Cheyenne Mountain Resort’s $20 Million Renovation in Honor of 25 Years in Operation

In May 2010, in honor of its 25th anniversary, Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs began a complete $20 million renovation. The renovation commenced with the Mountain View Restaurant Terrace, which will receive luxurious new furnishings and a large fire pit to further enhance this large outdoor gathering area, where groups can enjoy stunning views of Cheyenne Mountain.

All 316 guestrooms, as well as the resort’s five suites, will also receive all new high-end furnishings, linens and fixtures, as well as new flooring and bathrooms will be completely re-done. Rooms will also be equipped with new top-of-the-line electronics, including flat screen TVs and iHome Mp3 clock radios. The room design will have a residential feel, and be refreshing and crisp, intended to carry the breathtaking views from the outside in. (more…)

Della Terra Mountain Chateau has been added to the cadre of choices for upscale meetings and events in Estes Park. Designed and constructed as a tribute to nature, the 14 luxury suites are individually designed to embrace the seasons of Colorado and include sitting nooks, see-through fireplaces, soaking tubs and more. Della Terra is west of downtown Estes Park, Colorado and is adjacent to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Indoors there are lofty ceilings in the ballroom, which can accommodate up to 125 people for a group event, with balconies overlooking the central meeting space for dining and breakout sessions, plus stunning views all around. Smaller social events are conducted in a central great room that includes a three-sided fireplace and waterfall.

The outdoor gathering area is nestled among the pines with a trickling stream and surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. The Old World feel of Della Terra is combined with a new world sense of environmental sustainability. The design and build of the Chateau features unprecedented architecture, high efficiency products and equipment including radiant floor heat, solar, LED lighting, and ductless mini-splits for air conditioning.

In addition to the luxury suites, Della Terra also offers nine additional cabins with their adjacent property, National Park Retreats. Overflow lodging can arranged for larger groups as well with neighboring resorts.
