The Westin Westminster just recently announced that they have finally completed the renovation of their lobby. The hotel lobby in the Westin Westminster is best know for its dramatic glass walls which reach from the floor to the ceiling, along with its unique Colorado art. The hotel lobby was recently refreshed and renovated however, featuring brand new carpeting and furnishings which have been designed in order to maintain the signature High Plains décor that the hotel is best known for.

Additional renovations have been made to the lobby in the Westin Westminster including the addition of gathering height seating which were added to give guests more unique areas where they can work and socialize. The updates to the Westin’s lobby are designed to create a more comfortable and more visually appealing gathering space by improving the most populated common area in the hotel.

Over the span of this summer, the historic Hotel Boulderado gave a significant face lift to its Events Center, a center that plays host to a wide variety of different special events including weddings and corporate meetings. This face lift came as part of the extensive preparations that are being made in order to celebrate the upcoming centennial celebration for the Hotel Boulderado.

The face lift that was recently granted to the Events Center in the Hotel Boulderado includes the installation of handsome golf damask wall papers, rich new curtains and other special details as well. Painted columns and a water fountain were added to this unique space, along with reupholstering of the sofa sets using a plush burgundy velvet material. Additionally, all of the lighting fixtures throughout the event center have been replaced and updated as well.

Keeping in tune with a green philosophy that the Hotel Boulderado is trying to maintain, the Boulderado donated all of the items that were replaced during the update. More than one hundred different lighting fixtures, for example, were donated to the Habitat for Humanity, a non profit organization that builds homes for those who do not have one.

The Hilton Boulder Hotel located in Colorado has recently finished extensive improvements including guest suite improvements like new mattresses, furniture, linens, carpeting, window treatments, wall coverings and the installation of flat screen televisions. Enhancements were also made to the common areas and meeting spaces on the property, with new furniture and carpeting, the addition of artwork and wall coverings and more. The Homewood Suites has a new initiative called “Home is Where the Art Is”. This multi million dollar renovation came with a Grand Re Opening event which occurred on October 10.

The Ski Train’s premium cars are rolling into Union Station in Denver, Colorado for two days worth of parked parties which are planned for November 18 and 19. These days are slated for what are called Open Train tours and include private luxury cars, club cars, coach cars and what is called “meetings on the move”. Guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while they experience a completely new type of venue for corporate events and meetings.
